SHIROTA&DOLGOTA LESSONS
IN RUSSIAN MUSEUM
In 2018 Shirota&Dolgota started the new project together with Creative Communication Center of Russian Museum. Every month artists from psychoneurological asylums come to the Mikhailovsky Castle for the art sessions. Now in this peculiar building lives not only a ghost of its founder, the emperor Pavel I but also a very important museum's project where everyone can make art despite his or her position in society.
First the artists have a tour through the museum's exposition with Lidia Shenberova and other members of museum's staff. After this inspiring walk they go to a cosy room to think through the new impressions and express themselves in drawings.
Those trips are very important for the people who live in the isolated institutions, because they allow to make an acquaintance of the outer world and culture and have a good time in a friendly environment.
